People come to our office with an array of conditions. One of the most devastating being migraine headaches. Migraines can be debilitating as they can create massive head pressure, visual disturbances, nausea, and even vomiting. Migraines greatly impact life’s normalcy.
A woman came to our office two months ago explaining how she has had debilitating migraines starting as early as elementary school which were progressively getting worse and more frequent. She is in her mid-40s. Unable to go to work or exercise when the migraines hit. Soon after we talked, our doctors did a full evaluation and found she had a misalignment of her upper neck. This misalignment of the structures was putting pressure on the nerves that went up to the muscles in her head, her spinal cord, and the vessels that allow blood flow to and from the brain. This was causing pressure to build up in her head and perpetuate this debilitating headache that would eventually curl her up into a ball in the dark.
With the structures of her upper neck properly aligned we are glad to say she is now playing tennis and working without interruption or a single migraine for the last two months.
